WHAT THEY WERE UP AGAINST
A position to stand on.
CyMedica Orthopedics was founded in January 2013 with the desire to deliver faster, more predictable patient outcomes. The company developed a therapy-based digital health combination technology platform that engages patients and connects healthcare providers to actively treat muscles weakened by surgery.
CyMedica created Motive Health, an FDA cleared device to relieve knee pain, and needed a program that drove sales but helped establish the brand and its co-founder as trusted voices in the worlds of wellness innovation and orthopedic health.
What we did to help
Righting a wrong.
We began by developing a brand message overviewing how to position Motive externally in a new consumer market, focusing on innovative technology and product differentiators . Media relations strategy, including priority placements and a variety of data-driven and culturally relevant media angles sustained conversations during the pre-, at and post-launch phases.
We followed up by tapping a diverse group of influencers to educate, generate engagement, and create brand awareness, we partnered with Bree Green, Dr. Dan Ginader, and DeVonta Smith creating engaging content that focused on product and lifestyle benefits to increase awareness of Motive. This complemented our organic social playbook and paid media tactics to generate awareness and website traffic across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Tiktok.
